This vintage Ceil Chapman gold sequin rhinestone beaded circle skirt dress dates back to the 1950's. It is made of an ivory-creme satin fabric, with hand stitched iridescent clear sequins, gold sequin, beads, rhinestones completely covering the dress in a spiral scrolling pattern design. There are gold lamé metallic fabric rosettes with blue and purple rhinestone accents trimming the dress. This beautiful bejeweled glamorous gown has a full circle skirt lined in felt for added fullness, side skirt pocket, beaded spaghetti straps, a fitted bodice with stays boning sewn inside and side metal-zipper closure. It is fully lined, with a "Ceil Chapman" designer label sewn inside. It is in excellent wearable condition, with several missing loose sequins and beading. Professional restoration could easily fix this issue. This is a rare and wonderful piece of wearable designer embellished formal evening textile art!
