A highly coveted and super seductive Christian Dior painted denim pantsuit dating back to John Galliano's epic 2006 fall/winter runway collection. John Galliano is widely considered one of the most innovative and influential fashion designers of the early twenty-first century. He mingled his references in often surprising juxtapositions to create extravagant yet intricately engineered and meticulously tailored clothes. Both well-documented runway looks, number 12 and 21, are everything you want in Galliano era Dior. Both pieces are fashioned in distressed, painted sand-washed denim jean. The jacket has welted corset tailoring throughout, creating a peplum design. It also features large 'Christian Dior' logo snap buttons on the front, back and cuffs, along with two faux flap pockets on front. Love those lean, long sleeves! The extra long slim-fit matching pants have sensational overlapping panels on the waist. I can't believe this rare ensemble is unworn with original store tags!
