Gloria DeHaven began her career as a child actor with a big part in Charlie Chaplin's 1936 film "Modern Times". Years later she was signed to MGM, appearing in such films as Best Foot Forward, The Thin Man Goes Home and Summer Stock. In 1944 she was voted by exhibitors to be the "star of tomorrow"! Here is a rare opportunity to own a seductive two-piece ensemble from one of her MGM performances. This rich violet-purple playsuir is cut in that classic pin-up bombshell style...all curves and sexiness. The blouse is a low-cut plunge halter with an ivory pique-cotton collar. I love the matching high-waist shorts. This "Old Hollywood" historical ensemble is for the woman who wants to be noticed!

Only sign of age is darkening to the ivory cotton-pique which can be restored. Highly wearable and an investment piece that will continue to increase in value.
