An amazingly rare and highly stylized ivory floral appliqué silk ribbon weave two-piece burlesque performance ensemble dating back to the early 1950's. This captivating creation was all hand-crafted and is such a perfect example of early showgirl fashion. The silhouette is classic pin-up femme fatale! The fabrication is glorious; ivory silk weaved together to form beautiful flowers throughout. The crop bustier molds the cups perfectly. My favorite design element is the fully-fringed skirt which gives the set so much texture and movement. The matching skirt also has the prettiest over-sized side appliqué. You do not easily find this level of workmanship on garments today and this beauty is so incredibly unique. I personally think this would make an epic bridal reception or beach wedding look!

This custom couture hand-made ivory silk ensemble is in beautiful condition with no rips, stains or holes. Bustier labels reads "Exquisite Form" bras which was founded in 1945 with performer’s name "Mitzi Mee" written within.
