A breathtaking two-piece dress ensemble by Parisian couturier Jean LeFebure, who operated a small couture house during the 1950's and 1960's. The stunning magenta-pink, marigold and green watercolor floral silk chiffon used for this garment has a fresh modern vibe that I find irresistible. Almost has a tie-dyed aesthetic. The thin-strap bodice has a fantastic ruched fit. The piece work to create the draped skirting in particular is extraordinary; it skims the body and creates a beautiful hourglass look. I love the bold floral-applique on the optional sheer cape. The stylized charm of the flowing layered silk chiffon personify the feminine ideal in clothing. It is amazing that a dress with this amount of detail and presence can literally feel almost weightless but it does. We added many detail pictures so one can appreciate the beautiful achievement.
