An absolutely gorgeous Lilli-Ann designer coat dating back to their documented 1963 fall-winter collection. Lilli Ann was started in San Francisco in 1933 by Adolph Schuman, naming his company for his wife, Lillian. The company became known for their beautiful, elaborately designed suits and coats. This stunning garment is fashioned in a soft fully-lined cream imported mohair wool. The fabric itself is a masterpiece; almost having a 3-dimensional feel. The construction is impeccable and has the type of seamed pattern work that one rarely sees today. The bodice has an amazing large ascot-tie collar decorated with sparkling studded rhinestones and beaded jewels. I love those 3/4 cropped sleeves! The swing skirt finishes the coat with that perfect vintage vibe. This exquisite Lilli-Ann will definitely make any woman shine during the upcoming cold winter months!
