An exceptional and incredibly seductive Gianni Versace labeled black stretch knit hourglass gown dating back to Donatella Versace's iconic 1998 spring-summer collection. Versace’s creations were enjoyed by the super wealthy but his impact was felt across a wider section of society. Stylistically accessible and instantly recognizable, Versace’s fearless designs came to epitomize the era. This gorgeous garment features luxurious mid-weight stretch rayon knit and sheer silk chiffon which has been skillfully draped for an ultra hourglass bias-cut shape. The bodice has a stunning asymmetric plunge accented with gold chains and thin straps. There are bustier cups to hold the breasts perfectly in place and to cover the sheer silk chiffon side. The way the sheer panel gathers around the side bodice and under the backless design is so impressive. The workmanship is wearable art at it's finest. This 1998 Gianni Versace couture gown is in beautiful condition with no rips, fade or holes. The inside is immaculate and closes with original side zipper.
