Breathtaking Bill Gibb documented designer gown from his 1976 collection. His pieces are very collectible and found in museum's around the globe. The mixture of textiles on this dress is genuis; heavily pleated semi-sheer silk chiffon with a net tulle skirt over-panel embroidered with metallic art nouveau wheatears and poppies. I love the seductive low-cut plunging bodice. Just look are the colorful ribbonwork which brings the whole look together. It's a timeless garment simply because it exudes an undeniably unique flair, and yet remains incredibly current.
