A gorgeous and highly collectable Fashion Originators Guild silk chiffon gown ensemble dating back to the mid 1930's. The Guild was organized in 1932 to protect its members from 'piracy,' which they said was an unfair and tortious invasion of their design rights. The beautiful fuchsia pink and green floral print against the dove gray background on the semi-sheer silk chiffon has a timeless allure that I find irresistible. The bodice has an oversized floral appliqué and the most fantastic short tiered sleeves. The dress comes with a matching over blouse which can be styled with other pieces in your wardrobe as well! This creative way of effortlessly layering to show depth is quite extraordinary. This figure flattering garment even has a waist belt for the perfect fit. I love how the skirting skims the hip and flares out at the bottom with elegant pleating. We added many pictures so you could understand this masterful achievement. Such Great Gatsby style!
