A stunning "New York Creation" pinky-taupe rayon crepe gown from the early 1940's Old Hollywood era of glamour. A true dream dress! The elegant bodice has classic short sleeves with slightly padded shoulders and a chic criss cross v-neck plunge. My favorite detail is the beautiful matching belt closure with leaf-motif buckle. This figure flattering garment accentuates the bust and skims the hip with it's dramatic plum purple and red-orange tangerine color panels. So striking! This is the dress you will reach for anytime you want to look and feel like a starlet. The pictures say it all.

This early 1940's New York Creation gown is in excellent condition with no rips, holes or alternations. Perfectly working side original metal-zipper. Only sign of age is some very faint color variation which is not noticeable when worn. A rare wearable investment piece that will continue to increase in value.
