1950's Documented Beaded Dragon Motif Hourglass Burlesque Gown Gloves Cape Ensemble

A truly unique and ultra seductive documented custom couture burlesque stage gown ensemble for performer Carol Stanish, dating back to the mid 1950's. This captivating showstopper even comes with an image of the original dancer performing! The whole look must have taken weeks to complete. The fabrication is truly magnificent; prong set rhinestones and a rainbow of hand beaded over-sized jewels worked into the a dramatic wrap-around dragon motif. I love the rhinestone straps and matching fingerless gloves. The low-cut plunge sweetheart bodice with narrowing wiggle skirt is so figure flattering. The matching full length red sleeveless cape vest is a statement piece in it's own right. We added many pictures so you can appreciate this masterpiece. A complete ensemble like this is a true piece of theatrical burlesque costume history.
