A gorgeous Givenchy numbered haute couture royal blue silk chiffon draped gown dating back to his 1967 fall-winter collection. This caftan style gown was custom made for a larger sized client; something that is getting harder and harder to find Givenchy's trademark of sculpted lines and luxurious fabrics make his work easily recognizable. The color itself is so eye-catching; royal blue silk chiffon of the highest quality. I adore the elegant sleeveless corset style silk bustier with sheer draped overlay. The layered effect, which is also repeated throughout the dress, has such beautiful movement when you walk. I especially love that bold shoulder buckle and backside cape. The gown is as wearable now as when it was first created and feels so incredibly modern!

This vintage Givenchy haute couture numbered gown is in beautiful condition with no rips or holes. The inside is immaculate. Closes with back center metal zipper and fully lined in silk of the same hue. Only sign of age is a few faint spots which get lost in the fabric. Interior corset zipper may have been replaced.
