An extremely rare Ossie Clark for Quorum brown rayon crepe bias-cut gown dating back to his 1972 collection. English fashion designer, Raymond Ossie Clark, was a leading light in the London swinging sixties fashion era and is now renowned for his romantic flowing dresses and seductive ensembles. This stunning garment, with beautiful 'Busy Lizzie' Celia Birtwell floral print worked in, is a perfect example of his talent. The bodice has an alluring adjustable draw-string neckline with low plunge key-hole front. I adore those gathered shoulders and lean, long sleeves. Such a nod to 1930's design! A fluid bias-cut skirt that falls to the floor finishes this dress off with the perfect femme fatale vibe. Ossie Clark’s designs are right in step with 21st-century style. This gorgeous Ossie Clark for Quorum designer gown is in excellent condition with no noticeable rips, stains or holes. Garment closures with side zipper and adjustable drawstring neckline. Stunning cut-out front. Only minor sign of age is the small cuff buttons are no longer present though loops remain. Not noticeable when worn. Highly wearable and an investment piece that will continue to increase in value.
