Gorgeous ruby red silk-crepe gown by the famous Jean-Louis Scherrer label. At the age of 31, Stephane Rolland took over as Artistic Director for the Jean Louis Scherrer Haute Couture atelier, making him the youngest couturiers at the time. This rare dress is from the Autumn-Winter 2004 Haute Couture collection and is the actual runway defile sample presented and worn on the runway, Look 42. I love the seductive draped off-shoulder design with lean, long zipper-wrist sleeves. Complete with hidden integral quilted corset so nothing falls out of place. The nipped-waist hourglass trained skirting is effortlessly chic. The pictures really say it all. A one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art.

This Jean Louis Scherrer Haute Couture runway gown is in excellent wearable condition with no rips, holes or alternations. The garment is hand-finished, fully lined and complete with hidden corset. Only sign of wear is one dirt spot on the back train which is very hard to notice when worn. A rare designer investment piece that will only go up in value.
