An incredibly gorgeous and well-documented pair of Tom Ford for Gucci fully-beaded black, ivory and gray pants from his epic 2000 spring-summer collection. These stunning trousers were runway look number 18 modeled by the beautiful Jacquetta Wheeler. Vogue stated about this collection, "Sex sells, and no one knows that better than Tom Ford, who declared that Spring 2000 was about'Farrah Fawcett and Blondie, with a touch of Gwyneth Paltrow.' Indeed, Gucci's catwalk sizzled with glamorous vixens swathed in python prints, leather trainer pants and sparkling jersey dresses—a movie star's dream wardrobe, circa 1979. This is certainly not the time to be shy with your clothing." As shown, these iconic pants were also featured in numerous editorials including an epic campaign with Kate Moss.. They were created during Tom Ford's heyday as creative director for the Italian fashion house. He was winning over fans and raising critics’ brows, as well by making luxurious looks for a woman he envisioned as sultry, bold and glamorous. The pants feel so luxurious from the weight of the black, gray and white stripe patterned beads. I love the slight low-waist flared leg style which is so figure flattering.
