Breathtaking, iconic and instantly recognizable museum-quality gown by Hanae Mori dating back to 1977. Whilst on a Paris holiday in 1960, Mori had a fateful fitting with Coco Chanel. She claimed this meeting changed her life and she challenged herself to realise her own dream of designing haute-couture. By 1965 she had launched her own collection and had orders from prestigious stores such as Neiman Marcus. This is everything you look for in a Hanae Mori garment. Made of feather light silk chiffon that has been custom screened with one of her stunning large-scale floral prints. The dress is also lined in pure silk so it literally feels weightless! The mix of black, ivory and green with a splash of earth tone is pure Hanae. I adore the fitted nipped waist and gorgeous sleeves that are cut quite wide with a pretty ruffle-cuff finish. The skirt flows to the floor with a perfect goddess vibe. Best part of all; this Hanae Mori Couture show-stopper is in mint never-worn condition with original tags.
