An ultra seductive, museum worthy Hanae Mori haute couture fully beaded sheer lace bias-cut gown dating back to her 1998 fall-winter collection. Whilst on a Paris holiday in 1960, Mori had a fateful fitting with Coco Chanel. She claimed this meeting changed her life and she challenged herself to realize her own dream of designing haute couture. By 1965 she had launched her own line and had orders from prestigious stores such as Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue.
This well-documented runway gown is everything you look for in Parisian couture. The fabric itself is a masterpiece; the highest quality hand-beaded black sheer lace in the prettiest floral motif. This exceptional look represents months of couture hand-work and the end result is truly magical. There are two sashes of sheer silk chiffon elegantly covering each breast. They meet at the center of the hourglass nipped waist and cascade down in the most glamorous way. A sash in the same style flows down the back, cleverly covering the backside. The bias-cut skirting emphasizes a woman's seductive shape without adding any bulk or volume to the actual hips. We added many detail pictures so one can appreciate the masterful achievement. You can definitely wear this show stopper to any red carpet event or even as the most epic gothic bridal look ever. Hanae is the only woman of Japanese descent to have presented on the Paris and New York Runways and the first Asian woman to be admitted as an official haute couture house. You can clearly see why in this magnificent example of her work.
