  • 2003 Christian Dior by Galliano Haute Couture Beaded Lace Bias-Cut Gown

A breathtaking and highly desirable Christian Dior haute couture beaded lace bias-cut trained wedding gown with matching cropped bolero jacket. This incredibly rare numbered Christian Dior treasure from John Galliano's 2003 spring-summer collection is a one-of-a-kind ensemble that originally retailed for well over $100,000. This exceptional look represents months of couture hand-stitching from one of the biggest fashion houses in the world. John Galliano is widely considered one of the most innovative and influential fashion designers of the early twenty-first century. He mingled his references in often surprising juxtapositions to create extravagant yet intricately engineered and meticulously tailored clothes. This bridal gown is everything you look for in Galliano era Dior. The fabric itself is a masterpiece; the highest quality ivory satin with a dramatic overlay of ecru sheer tulle that has appliquéd white guipure lace. The floral lace is then highlighted with sparkling silver glass bugle-beads and sparkling rhinestones. The end result is truly magical. A corset boned hourglass bodice with satin spaghetti straps and low-cut draped front as a regal vibe that I find irresistible. The matching long-sleeve cropped bolero really the gown to another level. Closes with a myriad of elegant tiny satin-covered buttons. Such a nod to 1930's design. Flattering bias-cut mermaid skirting flows into the most extravagant train I have ever seen. This bias-cut construction emphasizes a woman's seductive shape without adding any bulk or volume to the actual hips. We added many detail pictures so one can appreciate the masterful achievement. You can definitely wear this show stopper to any red carpet event or of course, as the most epic bridal look ever. A rare slice of Christian Dior haute couture fashion history.

Measurements (varies due to bias-cut corset construction)
    Bust: 34-36 inches
    Waist: 24-26 inches
    Hips: up to 38 inches
Total Length: 60 inches (not including train)

This 2003 Christian Dior by John Galliano numbered haute couture gown ensemble is a rare one-of-a-kind look that was a custom commission. Retailed for over $100,000. Presents beautifully. Closes with intricate corset boning and signature fabric-covered buttons. The impressive beaded embroidery is in excellent condition. Fully lined in silk of the same ivory white hue. After close inspection, we did found some tears to the tulle as well as some overall faint spots from when the original bride first debuted the look. Please message for detailed pictures. Highly wearable and an investment piece that will continue to increase in value.
