An absolutely gorgeous 1950's olive green and yellow silk satin gown designed by Anne Verdi of New York. The flawless nipped-waist hourglass silhouette with luxurious fabric has the sophisticated elegance the 1950's were known for. The construction clearly draws inspiration from couturier Charles James and the vibe is totally channeling Grace Kelly as the Oscars. I love how the bodice offers a flattering fit with it's low-cut plunge winged bust and delicate pleating that gracefully molds to the body. The luxurious olive green silk gives a classic hourglass shape, while the lavish champagne yellow fishtail train flares out dramatically. Such an unforgettable statement! This Anne Verdi designer gown is in beautiful condition with no rips. holes or alternations. Perfectly working back metal-zipper in place. After close inspection we found some very faint discolor to the olive green silk. Please message for detailed pictures. Highly wearable and an investment piece that will continue to increase in value.
