A totally striking and ultra rare Versace documented smokey metallic stretch silk gown dating back to their fall-winter 2007 collection. Gianni Versace redefined fashion by combining it with rock 'n' roll, art and celebrity. By merging the worlds of fashion and entertainment, his shows became pop-culture events. This hardcore high-fashion gown is a fantastic example of the brand’s genius carried on by his sister Donnatella. The fabric itself is a masterpiece; the highest quality metallic liquid stretch silk that molds to the body with perfection. I love the sheen on the gown which catches the light to emulate the look of real silver! The front-ruched tank style silhouette has a slight plunge that is so alluring. My favorite design element is the large silver plexi chain straps that wrap all the way around to the back of the open bodice. They are incredibly rock n roll, but so light weight allowing for comfort without sacrificing style. To top this work of art off, the full-length skirting skims the hips and flows down with dramatic movement. There is even a built-in bodysuit to hold everything in place. This fierce Versace would make an epic red-carpet moment, or perfect for anyone looking to turn heads.
