An ultra chic and incredibly beautiful John Galliano sculpted tiffany-blue silk asymmetric draped gown dating back to his 2011 spring/summer collection. John Galliano will go down in history as one of the most influential designers of the 21st century, receiving such prestigious honors as the British Designer of the Year award and the French Legion of Honor. His gowns are distinguished by meticulous tailoring, and this one is no exception. The dress has a grecian goddess vibe with an immaculate level of detail. I love the asymmetric sleeves on the bodice: the beautifully ruched left sleeve cascades down the wearer’s arm, while the right shoulder tastefully shows some skin. The dramatic scoop neck results in a draped effect that’s sure to turn heads. The reverse side of the gown is just as stunning: a series of slender straps cascades across the open back. An asymmetric hem creates additional draping near the floor for more ethereal movement. We’ve styled this striking piece with an equally eye-catching belt from John Galliano's 2008 resort collection at Christian Dior. This ornate accessory originally appeared on Romina Lanaro, who modeled Look 5 on the runway. The turquoise hue of the sparkling beading perfectly complements the rich color of the gown. Whether you’re wearing this ensemble to a red carpet premiere or wedding, you will for sure land on the 'best dressed' list.
