An ultra rare and incredibly gorgeous Jean Muir colorful psychedelic graphic print sheer silk chiffon tunic pantsuit dating back to her 1967 spring/summer collection. As shown, British actress Joanna Lumley was famously photographed twice in a sheer set from this same collection. The self-taught Muir made her name in the mid 1960's, creating a reputation for exquisitely tailored, timeless, feminine clothing. Muir is a 'designer’s designer’, admired by the likes of Gaultier, Issey Miyake and Giorgio Armani. She continually held the attention and respect of fashion critics, and worked with some of the world’s most established photographers. A 1975 survey reported the two most copied designers in the world to be Jean Muir and Yves Saint Laurent. This intriguing Jean Muir ensemble is everything a woman wants when it gets hot outside. The tunic blouse is cut long enough to look incredible alone as a mini dress. Just look at those dramatic ruffle-trimmed billow sleeve and covered buttons.
