An ultra rare and super seductive Versace gold-studded micro-pleated silk jersey hourglass gown dating back to their 2012 spring/summer runway collection. This sensational dress was Look 41, modeled by the gorgeous Lindsay Wixson. Wixson famously stumbled on the catwalk; she turned the faux pas into an iconic moment by picking herself up and raising two thumbs-up to the audience, demonstrating her resilient spirit. Per Vogue, the show was replete with “gold studs” and “plissé pastels,” both of which spoke to creative director Donatella Versace’s bold vision for the fashion house she inherited from her brother Gianni: “There is no way to judge it outside its own context—and that context is Donatella…Which makes this collection a test of the power of personality in fashion.” Indeed, this epic gown is a prime example of her distinct approach. The structured sleeveless bodice boasts eye-catching cutouts along the bust area and sides, revealing just the right amount of skin. Micro-pleated silk jersey paneling in the most beautiful shade of pale dove gray emphasizes the dress’s bodycon silhouette, which will effortlessly show off your alluring curves. The gold studs are so exquisite—tiny pyramids, diamonds, and triangles adorn the dress’s bodice before cascading down the maxi skirt in a striking chevron pattern. This gown was also legendary actress Nicole Kidman's choice look to the 69th Golden Globe Awards, where she looked absolutely breathtaking. This rare runway Versace is an extraordinary look fit for Hollywood's most elite.
