The ethereal semi-sheer metallic lamé silk used on this incredibly rare 1930's couture gown has a romantic allure that I find irresistible. This is such a summertime dream look. I love the overall metallic gold floral print mixed with hues of sky blue and almond. The bodice has a flattering mock capelet design that covers the upper arm with chic shoulder slits. I particularly adore the backside with it's long draped flutter. A matching belt with sparkling deco buckle helps create an extra nipped waist shape. The piece work to create the slightly trained skirting in particular is extraordinary. She also reads so current, like a John Galliano for Christian Dior creation. We added many pictures so you can understand this masterful achievement. This would make a wonderful wedding guest look or bridal option! It is amazing that a dress with this amount of detail and presence can literally feel almost weightless but it does. Such a rarity!
