Absolutely gorgeous Harvey Berin designer cocktail dress dating back to the late 1950's. I'm so in love with that pale blush-pink color! Harvey Berin opened his business in 1921, and by the 1940's he was an important name in women’s high fashion. His designer, Karen Stark, adapted the latest styles from Paris each season. I can definitely see the Christian Dior influence. As Karen Stark said, "I like to use beautiful fabrics and unusual trimmings. I design for everyone – but always very feminine women.” This ethereal pale blush-pink French Chantilly lace and silk satin cocktail is a perfect example of their genius. I love the elegant low cut scoop shelf-bust illusion boned bodice with duel side-bows. The hourglass nipped waist flows into a fantastic sculpted wiggle flounce. The pictures say it all!
