In this gorgeous Arnold Scaasi designer gown, the detailed construction and meticulous attention to detail are comparable to what you will find in modern haute couture. Arnold Scaasi was an acclaimed fashion designer who created gowns for such notable personalities as Joan Crawford, Lauren Bacall and Elizabeth Taylor. This rare show-stopper, dating back to the late 1960’s, is a wonderful example of his pure genius. The fabric itself is a masterpiece; luxurious crisp-white metallic accented embroidered leaver lace in a stunning large scale floral pattern. The bodice has an alluring boned shelf-bust strapless design. I love the versatile matching bow-trimmed capelet which adds a beautiful charm to the ensemble.
