A gorgeous and highly coveted Yves Saint Laurent floral print maxi dress from the famous Rive Gauche 1974 fall-winter collection. Pieces from this decade are very rare and are true examples of fashion history. The fabric is a rich brown satin viscose which is incredibly soft on the skin. I adore the low scoop-neck plunge bodice with long slightly-billow sleeves. Rachel Welch wears this dress in a different pattern for a famous portrait with Yves Saint Laurent. It's definitely a piece of fashion history that is wearable and comfortable, yet has its own unique avant-garde elements.
