1990's Dolce & Gabbana Polka-Dot Print Silk Bustier Lace-Up Slip Dress

An ultra seductive Dolce & Gabbana hourglass polka-dot print stretch silk dress dating back to their 1995 fall/winter collection. Dolce & Gabbana are considered the inventors of a Mediterranean style that draws its inspiration from women of Italian realism, sensual and austere like Anna Magnani, to whom they dedicated a collection whose key element was the 1940's slip. They are not looking for a retro look; Dolce & Gabbana turned to the past for innovation. The designers once stated, "We want to use the past to project it into the future". This iconic black and white polka-dot dress is a wonderful example of their genius. The thin bra-style straps are adjustable and the flattering double layered stretch silk hugs the body perfectly. The lace trimmed low-cut plunge bodice has built in bra wire and corset style boning for an extra hourglass shape.
