An absolutely stunning Christian Dior demi-couture chartreuse silk chiffon draped cocktail dress dating back to Gianfranco Ferré's 1991 spring-summer collection. Gianfranco Ferré was an Italian fashion designer known as "the architect of fashion" for his original attitude toward creating garments. Ferré won a number of prestigious awards including the L'Occhio d'Oro six times for Best Italian Designer. This sensational cocktail dress is a perfect example of his talent. The fabric used is of the highest quality semi-sheer chartreuse silk chiffon. The heavily embellished metallic beaded and embroidered cut-out cap sleeves bring this dress to the next level. Just look how intricate the workmanship is! The alluring bodice had a low-cut plunge and hourglass nipped waist. I love the asymmetric draped sarong style skirting which is a wonderful nod to femme fatale construction. This would make an epic red carpet or wedding guest look.
