An absolutely gorgeous autumn-winter 2006 Versace documented runway gown that originally retailed for $20,905. Versace is one of the world's leading international fashion houses. Gianni Versace redefined fashion by combining it with rock 'n' roll, art and celebrity. By merging the worlds of fashion and entertainment, his shows became pop-culture events. This beautiful champagne silk chiffon 'Donna' titled gown still has her original tags attached and is a fantastic example of the brand's genius. This is the finale look for the collection, number 55. The fabric itself is a masterpiece; the highest quality pale champagne silk chiffon which has been elaborately pleated with bands of satin and shimmering pearlescent sequins. The embellishments alone must have taken days to complete. This graceful yet seductive gown has a low-cut plunge halter bodice. I love the Medusa logo back neck closure which is a signature Versace touch. My favorite design element is the draped thigh-high slit skirting for the most dramatic movement. We added many pictures so you can appreciate this masterful achievement. Would make a sensational red carpet or bridal moment!
