This mesmerizing Nina Ricci burgundy and black polka-dot silk organza tiered ruffle gown dates back to their 2011 pre-fall collection and is unworn with original tags still attached! Founded by Maria "Nina" Ricci in 1932, the house became synonymous with graceful silhouettes, impeccable couture craftsmanship, and romantic elegance. In 2009, Peter Copping ushered Nina Ricci into a new era as the new creative director. He balanced the maison's romantic Parisian heritage with fluid draping, delicate textiles, and quietly dramatic eveningwear that resonated with a new generation.

This captivating gown appeared as Look 18 in the pre-fall 2011 presentation, modeled by Caroline Brasch Nielsen. We also found it documented in the "America the Beautiful" editorial for the June 2011 issue of Vogue, worn by Karen Elson and photographed by celebrated British photographer Craig McDean. The figure flattering silhouette begins with slender shoulder straps and a softly squared neckline framed by cascading semi-sheer silk organza flounces.
