A gorgeous 1920's magenta pink dress by 'Bedell of New York' which was one of the high-end custom boutiques operating during the Art-Deco era. Vibrant flapper dresses from this decade are perennial favorites and this one is a show-stopper. The garment's simple unstructured style is so modern; the fine couture fabrics are a treasure trove of needle art. The dress is fashioned from luxurious mid-weight magenta silk-velvet and shimmering lamé lace which work so wonderfully together. The exacting perfection of the metallic-gold color is beyond compare, while the gossamer delicacy of the sheer illusion leaf patterned lace has a magical allure. We are excited to add close detail pictures so one can appreciate the masterful achievement. The sleeveless scalloped bodice with side rosette applique is so flattering and effortless to wear. What a magnificent dress for a stylish woman who uses her clothing as the material from which to create a work of art. Museum quality!
